Snowmobiling in Sept-Îles

Sept-Îles, the largest city on the North Shore, is a gateway to the big northern network. Federated trails, access to the backcountry and the Duplessis territory, and a handy launch point for riders who want to push further up the coast.

The terrain around Sept-Îles

The sector opens onto the Trans-Québec network and trails inland, through boreal forest, frozen lakes and hills. The further you get from town, the wilder it gets and the more services spread out: this is the kind of place where you plan your fuel and rarely ride alone.

Conditions

The North Shore snowpack serves Sept-Îles well, with a solid season from mid-December to late March. As everywhere in the region, check trail status and weather before you go, especially heading into the backcountry.
