Snowmobiling on the Upper North Shore

The Upper North Shore is the region's gateway when you're coming up from the south. Forestville, Les Escoumins, Tadoussac and Sacré-Cœur: this is often where riders from Quebec City or the Saguenay touch their first North Shore trails.

The sector

The Trans-Québec follows the river and links the Upper North Shore to the rest of the regional network. It's a fine transition country, between the St. Lawrence and the backcountry, with rest stops, welcoming villages and easy access from the ferry or Route 138.

Good to know

Being the southernmost part of the region, the season can run a little shorter than the north in mild years. Check conditions, especially early and late in the season.
